2. Would be great without the whine
I just purchased this today at Target. The fan is very quiet even on high speed. Unfortunately it has a droning whine that is present whenever it is on. I can hear it from three rooms away. This is the third large room purifier I have tried that has failed the sound test. I'll be returning it to Target at my earliest opportunity.
